Boom reel

The Expandi Reels are hydraulically or electrically powered reels for storage and deployment of oil booms. The equipment is easy to handle and enables a safe and effective deployment of oil booms.Boom reels are delivered with fork lift tunnels and lifting points for crane operation.

Roto Pack

The Roto Pac boom deployment and retrieval device incorporates flexibility, mobility and requires minimal manpower. This extremely easy to handle reel can be operated from an offshore platform, the deck of a vessel, a pier, or the shore. Deployment time for 200 m can be as fast as 2 minutes, without needing any additional machinery. Roto Pac allows retrieval of 200 m of booms in as little as 12 minutes. It is easily dismantled by two men.

Expandi Lifting Sling

The Expandi Crane Sling as well as the Expandi Helicopter Sling provides significant flexibility, efficiency and cost savings. With the sling sections of our Expandi Self Inflatable Oil Boom can be moved quickly and deployed without any boom reel. The helicopter/crane drop feature is another unique feature of the Expandi Self Inflatable Oil Boom. This feature is particularly useful in areas where distance or road communication represents a problem.

Expandi Sea Sledge

The Expandi Sea Sledge is an optimal solution for reaching the spill site quickly and immediately deploys all kind of all spill response equipment. It has been especially designed to facilitate two rolls of 250 m each of Expandi Self inflatable Oil Boom M4300. An automatic release device allows the deployment of all 500 m of booms in 5 minutes without any need for electricity or hydraulic sources, and without the assistance of the crew members. The Expandi sea sledge is designed and manufactured to allow high speed towing.

Expandi Boom Cleaner

The Expandi boom Cleaner is designed to quickly and thoroughly remove oil and pollutants from any kind of oil booms. A minimum of man power is required, boom damage is effectively eliminated and wear is minimized. The Boom Cleaner is environmentally safe as it traps the removed pollutants inside the system for safe disposal. The Boom Cleaner systems works in conjunction with a Roto Pac which pulls the boom through the cleaner.

Hydraulic Power Pack

The Expandi Hydraulic Power Packs are units designed to run Roto Pacs, Reels, skimmers, transfer pumps, etc. The system includes one hydraulic pump (fixed or variable displacement) connected to an engine, petrol. diesel or electric. A distributor valve can be fitted to adjust the output flow. Further output circuits and wireless remote control are available if required.

Container System

The Expandi container system is designed for rapid oil spill response. It is easy to handle and transport. This solution can be applied to any oil spill cleaning operation for first intervention, beach cleaning, office modules and/or rest rooms. Multi Skimmer

The Expandi Multi Skimmers are equipment with three different cassettes (drum, discs, or brushes). The cassette can be changed from one type to another in order to recover spills within a wide range of viscosities. Drum and discs are used for oil spills of light to medium viscous oils, while brush is used for medium to high viscosity oils. Typically, water content in the recovered fluid should be lower than 5%.

Weir Skimmer

The Expandi Weir Skimmer is a rugged oil skimmer. The structure is made of stainless steel or aluminium. Generally this type of skimmer treats more water than comparable brush, disc or drum skimmers. In spite of this, the Weir Skimmers is the most widely used when operating with high volume and thick oil spills.

Foldable Skimmer

The Expandi Folding Skimmer reduces the amount of water collected compared to a weir skimmer. It is very easy to handle and use. Just connect the discharge hose and adjust the floating ring to the water level. It is particularly useful in industrial areas, where there limited space for a skimmer.

Frame Tank

The Expandi FTANK series are the best solution for on-site, temporary storage during spill response operations. Oily water, hydrocarbons, sewage or materials containing them (rags, sorbent, etc.) can be stored prior to final disposal. These tanks have a stainless steel frame, and are equipped with a drain and offloading connections.

Self-supporting Tank

The Expandi Self Supporting Tanks adjust automatically the floating top ring. The Self Supporting Tank is lightweight, foldable and portable. It can be used as a temporary storage unit for oily water, sewage or hydrocarbons prior to final disposal. These tanks are equipped with a drain and offloading connections.

Floating Tank

The Expandi floating and towable storage tanks are the best solution when lack of storing volume is a factor during oil spill operation. They are easy to tow, because its dynamic bow design distribute the towing forces through the fabric panels. The floating tank is fitted with several couplings to facilitate the transfer of contents.

Pillow Tank

The Expandi pillow tanks are closed, light and portable units fitted with handles to facilitate their location at site. They can be used to temporally store oil contaminated water from oil spills, or as freshwater tanks for people. Additional couplings or accessories can be fitted to facilitate the transferring of liquids.
